Database Administrator DBA (SQL Server)

SQL Server Database Administrator for a large online multinational based in Dublin, the role is focused in the day-to-day administrative and operational tasks of managing and supporting a large, transaction-intensive database environment, dealing with high network throughput, voluminous database access, redundancy, security, financial transaction processing, compression, and data archival and backup, among other issues. To qualify you will have a masters degree in ICT and 3- 5 years software experience with SQL Server, excellent performance tuning and optimisation skills, solid experience with disaster recovery methods and capacity planning within a very large database environment, some data modelling experience. You will have an understanding of data warehouse experience will be a plus.
