Database Administrator
The person filling this position will be responsible for the maintenance, security, and on-going deployment of the MSSQL databases used by the production and test environments.
Role:
The provisioning and deployment of reporting mechanisms to measure system metrics, performance, management data and other information as regards production MSSQL databases as required
Organisation and execution of routine procedures to ensure database reliability, redundancy and disaster recovery
Monitoring database performance
Review releases from Development/QA as part of the release process
Perform database upgrades as required
Requirements:
3 -5 years DBA experience
Good knowledge of SQL Engine
Experience Performance tuning
Experience troubleshooting mission critical systems
Experience with code reviews
Experience working within a PCI environment
Salary: €50,000-55,000 plus benefits
