Data Migration Specialist

Our client employs people in Ireland & the UK where they partner with organisations across all business sectors including Government, Public Sector Agencies, Education, Retail, Pharmaceutical and Food & Beverages. Due to their continued success and rapid growth they are now recruiting for an Implementation Support & Data Migration Specialist to join the team in Cork.

Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible for management of the data migration process.
* Maintain high standard of data quality checks for data migration.
* Liaising with product manager on technical aspects of the system and responsible for technical specifications.
* Support their clients in the use of all System.
* This role will involve the use of the following tools: Oracle Databases, SQL/Loader, SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Discoverer, MS Office and other Oracle Programming Tools.

Experience and Requirements:
* Degree qualified, preferably in an IT discipline.
* Strong technical and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.
* A strong team player with an ability to also work on own initiative.
* Self starter with an ability to work to deadlines in a fast paced environment.
* Experience with SQL/Loader, SQL and PL/SQL.
* An ability to prioritize and strong organisational skills are essential.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* An understanding of the Oracle database.
* Proficient user of Microsoft Suite.
