As Ireland's largest independent bookmakers and online betting company, our client offers a state of the art online sports betting, poker, casino and bingo gaming experience. An opportunity has now arisen for a Data Analyst to join their team.

For this role, our client is looking for a talented data analyst from a web-based environment to contribute to the future success of their online gaming business. The successful candidate will benefit from career enhancing prospects.

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for providing expert data analysis support to all areas of the gaming business with a focus on collecting, presenting and analysing all gaming data. You will also be required to assist with the day-to-day running of the overall gaming portfolio.

Your activities will be focused on delivering data and analysis, and assisting with operations, product marketing, and ecommerce operations. You will be expected to help increase activity on our client’s website and help enhance the product, marketing and end user experience.

Your duties will include:

– collating gaming and player statistics in a presentable and meaningful manner
– providing data analysis to highlight areas for development, player segmentation and ROI
– helping facilitate the acquisition, retention and revenue growth of VIP players
– integrating all external, 3rd party and cross company data
– assisting in the production of email offers and promotions

To be considered for this position, you must have:

– web-based data analysis experience gained in a commercial role, your studies or similar
– a highly analytical background with experience of statistical or data analysis, ideally with a gaming focus
– a degree in a relevant field such as mathematics, statistics or ecommerce
– strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, macros and formulas

As a Data Analyst, you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills. The motivation to succeed in a competitive and demanding business environment is also key.

Although not essential, an interest in the online gaming industry would be beneficial to your application. Knowledge or experience of using Microsoft Access would also be an advantage.
