CTO (VP of Technology)

Pentasia are seeking an experienced business leader when it comes to IT Infrastructure and Technology for one of our globally growing clients in the Gaming sector.Reporting directly in to the COO of the company you will be tasked with managing remote and disparate teams in three global locations from either Cork, Vegas or Edmonton, Canada.

Duties & Responsibilities:
* Contribute to the development of the Technology & Product Strategy
* Lead global platform architecture vision and delivery.
* Identify innovation opportunities and find ways to pursue quickly on a global scale.
* Represent us at various conferences and events as a senior technical leader.
* Develop, grow and lead Development Teams in Canada, USA and Ireland as well as 3rd party technology partners worldwide.
* Deep understanding of database driven gaming and/or hospitality software and/or related customer facing software.
* Recruit top tier talent at all levels to add to our teams and extend capabilities.
* Mentor and manage to optimum efficiency, remote team members to continually increase technical capability.
* Identify key metrics and goals and then drive execution to completion.
* Work closely with business leaders to identify opportunities to grow existing business or create new businesses.
* Conducts research on leading edge technologies and ensures best in class systems and integration across business.
* And above all: Inspire our team to continue to make the market’s most innovative gaming solutions for the international market place.

Desired Skills & Requirements:
* 8 – 10 years experience within the IT sector.
* Experience in iGaming or a similar strong customer facing company.
* Proven experience in VP/Director level roles.
* A technology evangelist and up to date with emerging trends and technologies.
* A credible leader – proven track record in inspiring people
* Excellent commercial focus.
* Experience building best in class technology operations.
* Possess great collaboration skills and be comfortable engaging with developers in multiple countries, leadership team and customers at all levels.
* Have knowledge and experience of structured development, with a proven record in planning, prioritizing and leading teams to deliver against a given development road map.
* A strategic overview of challenges and constraints as well as emerging technologies and opportunities in IT architecture and infrastructure.
* Preferred hands on experience designing, building and operating gaming technology businesses.
* Very senior technical skills at application and operations levels
* Fluent in English
