Field Service Engineer €25K – €28K

The role will be best suited to an individual who wants to increase their range of skills in the IT support, product knowledge and diagnostics skills. Working with the technical director and the support staff they will be responsible for the resolution of a wide variety of problems while working closely with the customer and suppliers to ensure all SLA are achieved. Having a min of 1 years experience in a support role the successful candidate can expect to advance their career in both Knowledge and in customer relationships.
The duties
• Wide Range of Maintenance and support on Printers, PC’s, Servers and networks
• Repair of printers and PC
• Proactive remote monitoring and repair all equipment on customers sites
• Ensuring Service Levels are adhered to
• Helpdesk support as required
Skills required but not limited to
• Minimum 1 years relevant experience in a similar role
• Printer hardware, Windows, Office and Exchange experience
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN/wireless technologies
• Knowledge of Backup Solutions
• Be familiar with Anti Virus solutions, installation and maintenance
Other requirements
• Industrial certifications (MCP, MCSE, A+,Cisco or HP) advantageous
• Must have the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and isolate problems using all available resources
• Good customer interfacing skills
• The ideal candidate will be motivated, with good communication skills, attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills
