HiberniaEvros are currently seeking an [b]experienced Cognos Specialist[/b] for our Client, an [b]enterprise government department[/b], for a [b]long term contract[/b] based in [b]Longford[/b].
[b]General Role:[/b]
• Producing ad-hoc reports and statistics on a regular basis to tight deadlines
• Releasing and installing new reports and upgrades/CR's to existing reports
• Check and analyse reporting data with a respect to efficiency and performance
• Controlling access permissions and privileges
• Monitoring and managing backup and recovery plans
• Monitoring and managing data merging and data replication to the reporting data warehouses.
[b]Requirements:[/b]
• Relevant third level qualification
• Minimum 5 years’ experience
• Oracle Server 9.2 upwards
• MS SQL Server
• Cognos
• Batch Scripting
• DBA Backup
