Cisco Voice Engineer – Immediate Start

Cisco Voice Engineer – Immediate Start is required for a well-known organisation based 1 hour outside Dublin. This opportunity is an initial 9 month fixed term contract, although very likely to be extended thereafter.

Responsibilities
• Analyse and troubleshoot network and telecoms problems up to an intermediate level.
• Plan and schedule daily tasks according to priority and severity
• Maintain switched network environments.
• Be able to troubleshoot/diagnose WLAN Issues and escalate to 2nd Level Support if required.
• Provide support to the day-to-day operations network team.
• Participate in Project based assignments when required.

Requirements
• 1+ year experience in a similar position in a large organisation is essential.
• Telecoms & PABX experience required.
• Previous experience with Cisco kit is essential. i.e. Cisco CAT OS & CAT IOS Switches and Routers (small/medium & large switches).
• CCNA is Desirable or comparable experience
• Terminal Server experience an advantage.
• Excellent customer focus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong ability to adhere to processes and procedures.
• Team Player essential.
