Change Release Analyst

This role has been established to assist and facilitate the release of application changes to the production environment. Providing overall day to day running and oversight of our release management process.

Liaise with CATE, test, problem management, support teams and change management personnel to ensure that approved release procedures are followed.

Assist in the refining and maintenance of the release management process to ensure that it is usable across the department.

Key Responsibilities:
– Communicating the Release Management Process and working practices to personnel impacted.
– Responsible for managing requests for release through the release management process.
– Capturing requests for release from various authorised trigger points and reporting on any exceptions.
– Ensuring all appropriate checkpoints are adhered to and reporting exceptions the appropriate use of specified change models.
– Managing and maintaining the release schedule.
– Coordinating and participating in the weekly release review meeting.
– Review and approve release plans
– Ensure release processes and standards are implemented
– Ensure releases are delivered on schedule and within expectations
– Implement efficient, repeatable installation and distribution procedures
– Oversight and day to day Change Management in line with standard.

Qualifications:

– At least a Bachelor’s degree.
– Release management certification
