C#/.NET Developer 3 Month Contract

Our Client is currently looking for a C#/VB.NET / ASP.NET Developers to join their software development team based county Leitrim on an initial 3 month contract. This contract position has the possibility of becoming a permanent position.

Overview of the responsibilities of the C# / ASP.NET Developers: 

• Specific responsibility for the development, deployment and support of software projects
• Primary responsibilities include the design and development of web applications based on .NET technology.
• Desktop development will also be required.
• Creating detailed design specifications
• Developing applications from detailed design specifications
• Bug Fixing
• Participation in the full project life cycle (analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, documentation and support.)
  

Candidate Profile
Background   

• B.Sc/B.Eng or greater in Computing 2+ years development experience

Technical Knowledge   

• At least 3 years .NET ideally mostly of C#, VB.NET and ASP.NET with good Windows forms experience.
• Strong MS-SQL (up to 2008)
• Web development experience is a must (ASP.Net, JavaScript, AJAX)
• Some experience working with interface components advantageous
• Visual Studio 2010
• Visual SourceSafe 
• Web Services 
• Mapping services (Bing Maps, Google Maps, ESRI) 
• Telerik Controls 
• Interfacing with Microsoft office products such as Excel and Project.
