My client who is based in Donegal is one of Ireland’s largest software development companies in the financial services industry. As the successful candidate you would be responsible for all aspects of the SDLC.
You may be required to travel for the first 3/6 months to New York to meet with Clients.
Job Role
* You would be solely responsible for designing and creating new solutions
* Analyze and validate computer program specifications
* Evaluate and install software packages and upgrades
* Carry out program and application testing
* Provide clearly written application user guides for end users or system administrators
Experience
* 5 years development experience using C#, .NET4.0, and SQL
* Knowledge of the financial services industry
* Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application requirements
* Excellent communication and problem solving skills
* Experience in MVC, Entity Framework and Test Driven Development
* Working knowledge of sharepoint
