C++ Applications Development Technical Specialist required for prestigious client in Belfast!
This position will be a Senior Developer role within the exchange connectivity team, specifically focusing on the CB2 strategic systems. Development of new exchange connectivity and enhancements of existing functionality.
Key responsibilitilies:
Enhancements to strategic exchange connectivity platform.
C++, Windows, scripting
Management of exchange connectivity tasks including adding new connectivity
Smart Order Routing
Key Relationships:
Business relationships will need to be forged with various businesses including cash, programs, algos, and prop trading.
This team supports applications providing connectivity with various exchanges for cash and derivatives trading and market data.
The systems also provide smart order routing and special order types for the smart processing of orders to all available destinations.
Development Value:
The successful candidate will gain exchange knowledge, and exposure to complex smart order routing functionality.
Qualifications
Knowledge/Experience:
Strong C++ server side essential preferably on Windows
Unix/Linux desirable
Scripting on windows and unix/linux desirable
Java desirable
Exchange connectivity knowledge highly desirable
FIX knowledge essential
Electronic trading knowledge highly desirable
Skills Required:
C++ (pref. Windows) Unix/Linux
Skills Desirable:
Scripting Java
Qualifications:
Degree Level preferably in Computing or other numerate degree
