Business Intelligence Developer – Galway

Contract- 6-12 Months

My Client is looking for a Business Intelligence Developer who is proficient with SQL tools and databases to provide up to date and precise information for use in analysis tools.
Working within a team structure you will be communicate with the Data team and the Information Services and Development team with the aim of developing the information products.

Responsibilities

* Implement improvements to data management and information delivery systems in conjunction with the Information Services team;
* Deliver ongoing knowledge transfer to colleagues on the work undertaken.
* Develop suitable data processing to ensure the accuracy and currency of data;
* Develop database models for new information products
* Ensure that development policies are enforced including that release procedures and source control procedures
* Liaise with the data analysts to develop SQL queries to return the required data;

Experience & Qualifications

* More than 4+ years’ experience in a senior level in this role or a related role
* A degree or equivalent in a computer science, data analysis or numerical discipline
* At least 3 years’ experience working with enterprise database systems
