This individual ensures project assignments are delivered to specification. They work with functional business consultants to help prioritize enhancements, provide technical expertise and provide technical insight.
This individual is experienced and fully competent in technical areas associated with one or more applications or functions. This individual shares responsibility for the integrity and stability of those applications and functions.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Facilitates and drives design meetings. Authors, contributes, and/or reviews Functional and Technical Design documents.
* Drives technical deliverables across the extended IT team associated with Service Delivery. The scope of the deliverables can span multiple areas including Applications Development, Global Infrastructure & Services (GIS) and Global Security Operations (GSO).
* Coordinates and helps prioritize project tasks and deliverables. Works with other Service Delivery Teams to create work plans aligned with project objectives. Assigns tasks, and evaluates work. Communicates progress against projected goals.
* Responsible for establishing technical objectives. Ensure that deliverables are aligned with the Business Functions goals.
* Responsible for the technical integrity and architectural direction of one or more applications. Acts as the quality gate for all application/project changes and as the escalation point for production issues.
SKILLS
* Broad understanding of Data Warehouse design, build and implementation tasks.
* Deep technical understanding of Data Integration & ETL development, performance tuning and best practices (Informatica preferable)
* Deep understanding (both front-end and backend) of Oracle and SAP ERP systems
* Experience using Business Intelligence toolsets (OBIEE, Business Objects, SAS, etc.)
* Drive best practices throughout the development project team and take a lead role in driving overall development.

Education: Bachelors (Tech) or equivalent
