About the company
Our client is a well-established provider of software solutions to SME’s. Based in Dublin they have a strong reputation in the retail industry and an impressive list of longstanding clients. They are well established and are currently about to embark in their next phase of exciting growth.
Key Responsibilities
They are looking for someone to come on board, reporting directly into the Managing Director who will take ownership for driving the company’s sales function forward. Initially taking responsibility for driving New Business the position has the potential to quickly become a Sales Manager one with full responsibility for the sales function and building your own team.
As Business Development Manager:
- Finding new business opportunities
- Develop and implement sales strategies and territory planning
- Looking for opportunities within existing customers e.g. upgrades
- Working with project managers and software development to propose and ensure successful delivery of new customer requirements
- Closing business and meeting revenue targets
Minimum Requirements
The person they are looking for will have:
· 5+ years’ experience in software sales including business development
· The desire to work independently and take ownership of sales function
· Full clean driving license and own transport
