Business Analyst/ Test Lead

Immediate long term contract for a Business Analyst with solid QA experience with a City Centre based Financial Services company.

Business Analyst and Quality Lead Role

This term is a fixed 12 month contract.
Working as a member of the IT Department and reporting to the IT Development Manager, this role be responsible for delivering requirements elicited from business units validated to QA industry standards and will also manage the test plans and UAT lab work with the business users.

From June to September our client is delivering a Change Request Release to one of the main business applications which supports all of the company’s listing functions. At the same time the company is beginning the inception tasks of a bigger project which will deploy a new version of the same system consisting of different business processes and different integration points.

The role will be required to work with users from different backgrounds and departments and other external business analysts working for a client partner software service supplier. The role will also liaise with external QA industry partners to assist in the management of quality at all stages of the project.

The test administration will require experience of QA processes and the supporting software tools to track defects against test cases and control quality gateways.

It is critical that this role quickly grasps the concepts of the business and understands how the IT system delivers and supports it. The role must be able to identify risks and issues with requirements and document and record accurately in a fast moving environment. While working independently and self-motivating, the role will have to report the status of all progress consistent with the overall project management. Attention to detail is prerequisite and commitment to the full term of the contract a must.
The IT system in question is a business process management system. The UI is delivered via MS Dynamics CRM and Sharepoint integrated using an open services architecture with BPM and enterprise data management. The framework provides a design, development, testing and applications delivery platform for the entire COMPANY.

Applicants for this role must demonstrate clearly recent relevant experience in both BA and Test/Quality fields, a proven technical IT background and some formal qualification or training.
