Business Analyst / Implementation Consultant
Salary: £60 – 64K or €70 – 75K 20% Bonus Excellent Benefits
Location: Dublin, London or The Netherlands
Our client a global software company with offices in Dublin, London, The Netherlands and NY is the market leading provider of Centralized Data Management (CDM) solutions for financial services firms, is seeking a Business Data Analyst within their professional services group to assist with aligning product technology with customer business strategies and requirements including the collection, analysis, design and documentation of business and functional requirements.
Principal responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Analyze data attributes of customer’s data models and map those attributes to the Asset Control product data models.
Translate customer’s project requirements into functional requirements.
Provide requirements for exception workflows and validation functions.
Provide support for the development of test cases for system testing by preparing acceptance test plans.
Act as a liaison between the customer’s business group and the firm to ensure the product suite is used according to best practices.
Up to 40% travel
Requirements include:
Bachelor’s degree required
Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related technical field is a plus
At least 3 years experience in a similar position or 3 years experience as a junior financial analyst, research assistant or related occupation
Experience with financial data vendor feeds (contents and workings). Knowledge of the Bloomberg® Datalicense product is required. Knowledge of the Thomson Reuters Datascope and IDC feed products is a plus
Must have experience with data management projects
Overall Knowledge of trading, back office, risk systems required with specific knowledge of one of the aforementioned systems
Has an in-depth knowledge of financial instruments, such as equities, bonds, derivatives and/or corporate actions
Understanding of Relational Data model representations of financial data and
Data modelling capability
Has a good understanding of MS Excel
Basic SQL skills
