Our Cork based client currently has a Permanent position available for a Business Analyst with a minimum of 5 years’ experience. The successful candidate will be involved throughout the entire software product development life cycle.
The Business Analyst will have primary responsibility to elicit, analyze, specify, validate, and manage the real wishes of the project stakeholders, including customers and end users. You will serve as the conduit between customer support, product management, project management, architects and the software/hardware/firmware development teams through which requirements flow.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the development of commercial software products
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
Previous experience of working with a variety of software development lifecycle methodologies
Experience in writing and validating software requirements for rich client desktop software products
Writing user stories, use cases and activity diagrams
IBM Rational DOORS for requirements management
Enterprise Architect or similar UML/SysML specification and design tool
HP ALM Quality Center or similar software quality management platform
Knowledge in HMI, MES and SCADA systems or any other Industrial Automation domains would be distinctly advantageous
Good communication skills both verbal and written.
Ability to build professional working relationships with individuals across many project
