Business Analyst / Application Support
Location: Dublin City Centre
Salary: 60K
Our client in the Health Sector based in North Dublin City are currently hiring a Business Analyst / Application Support Analyst. The successful candidate will be reporting into the CIO. This is a great opportunity for career progression and working alongside senior management.
What will I be doing:
- Ensuring IT applications are available and performing appropriately
- Delivering & leading on Key projects (managing projects from Design to Implementation)
- Development / enhancement of small applications
- Initiating Ideas for system and process improvements to help business improvement
- Business analysis and design role in the implementation of new (or revised) computer systems
- Extensive liaison with business units to coordinate requirements and change requests
- Translation of requirements into coordinated systems specifications
- Prime liaison with software providers on system problems, bug fix development, system enhancements and product developments
- Structured testing of new software releases.
- Maintenance, support and validation of inter-system interfaces
- Application administration, security, development and assignment of usernames/ user profiles
- Incident management to manage, prioritise and resolve IT incidents from 1st level right through to 3rd level support.
- Ensure any recurring incidents are addressed as part of any new system enhancements, and to minimize the impact of incidents that cannot be prevented.
What do I need to have:
- 4 years experience in an App Support / Development or Business Analysis role
- Must have some hands on .NET development ability (Sufficient for enhancement of small applications)
- MS SQL Server Experience
- Experience with iSoft, Softworks, Crystal Reports, Integra are Desirable
- Incident management experience to manage, prioritise and resolve IT incidents
