Business Analyst

Prestigious client in County Tyrone requires 2 Business Analysts to assist in the delivery of business system implementations across multiple sites within the Group.

Reporting directly to the IT Project Manager, you will support the identification of end user requirements, the evaluation of software packages, training and support of end users in implementing new applications and map and inform improvements to business processes.

The Role:

Develop a sound knowledge of all assigned systems and understand the effect of requested changes
Liaise with business managrs and users to understand, document and prioritise business requirements across affected business areas
Review and document major business processes and propose changes to improve business performance
Document workflows and results of business analysis and obtain sign off from business on the specifications
Provide the link between the business, development team and any third party regarding software functionality, throughout the project life cycle
Design and execute test scenarios and test scripts
Develop management and operational reports based on user requirements
Provide end user training on systems being implemented
Day to day management of change requests allocated in relation to the project plans to ensure agreed deadlines are met
Provide weekly updates to the PM showing progress against outstanding milestones, status, issues, risks and dependencies

The Person;

Educated to degree level with a minimum of 1 to 2 yrs business analysis experience
Proven experience interacting directly with end users with the ability to deliver projects which meet the customer requirements
The ability to be flexible and quickly adapt to changing business needs and processes
Demonstrable evidence of analysing and documenting business processes
Experience of Business Intelligence, Reporting Services, Enterprise Resource Planning and Operational systems
Participated in software testing and end user training
Possess end to end experience of the project lifecycle

These 2 roles will be based in Northern Ireland but will require occasional travel to their sites through the UK and Ireland
