Business Analyst

Our client is a large business change and consultancy firm. They currently require a Business Analyst to join their dynamic team.

General Tasks & Duties:
*Manage engagement promises to customers including reorienting teams to act with greater alignment or urgency, and responding quickly and wisely to early warning signs of a need to renegotiate the promise
*Help shape and define business roadmaps through an understanding of the business’s drivers and the technical enablers to support them
*Take a leading role in ensuring that appropriate business activities are undertaken to support the implementation of the Technical Solution
*Work with Business Stakeholders, Technical Architects, Testing and Developers to define a set of business requirements to the agreed standard and quality
*Ensure that the scope of a Design iteration doesn’t vary unless authorised by the Business Stakeholders
*Listen to others with a literary sensitivity that picks out hidden virtues and concerns
*Look at a business unit as a whole and create and compare alternative models

Required Skills & Knowledge:
*Flexibility, highly numerate, strong IT skills
*Consummate communicator
*Eagerness to develop a career in management consultancy
*Must be able to travel throughout the UK, Ireland and Europe
*Experience in website/technical business analysis
*Testing background
*Usability knowledge
*Basic SQL skills
*Business experience in a fast-paced environment
