AV Senior Installation Engineer

Major company, requires a Senior AV Engineer for a year long contract based in Ipswich.

Senior AV Engineer role will include the following:

Set up and run equipment tests and pilots prior to introducing new equipment to the portfolio of technology used.

Manage Collaboration Station, Meeting room, SfB room and War Room system functionality and liaise with 3 rd party vendors Axis, Epson, Smart, etc. for all Collaboration System components.

Carry out in-depth audio conferencing system checks (microphones, speaks, codec, phone and control software)

Remote access all components including Crestron Xpanel and Axis camera management

Replace faulty Collaborations components: Camera's, PC's Codec, Crestron control, microphones, projectors, speaks, cables etc.

Manage 3 rd party warranty repairs or replacement, advise client where items are out of warranty and obtain pricing for the repair or replacement of equipment for approval and order.

Make amendments to Crestron/AMX software code (programming) to enhance UI as required by Technical Lead or when client network or other enforced changes necessitate such.

Make amendments and reconfigure Clear One codecs using Interact configuration software when audio environment changes

Manage the deployment of upgrades and replacements

Must have the following:

Smart Technologies accreditation

Excellent communication and reporting skills
