Automated Systems Test Engineer – Contract

HiberniaEvros on behalf of our client is seeking an IT Contractor with Automated Systems Test experience for a 6 month immediate contract in Dublin City Centre.

Candidates applying should have a minimum of 6 years of recent, professional experience in automated testing enterprise products based on Linux.

Required Skills

* Good working knowledge of IP networking protocols and systems
* Detailed understanding of testing methodologies, with relevant experience of system testing (Automated Test experience essential)
* Strong Linux and Python scripting skills
* Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
* Excellent verbal and written English-language communication skills

Desirable Skills

* Experience gained in testing applications/systems in a capital markets networking environment
* Experience in writing automated test suites for web applications (JavaScript, HTML, Adobe FLEX, XML) using Selenium
* Experience with trading protocols such as FIX
* Cisco CCNP certification or familiarity with the configuration of Cisco devices
