For our client, an international ICT multinational organization, we are looking for an experienced:
Application Manager (m/f)
Project:
We are looking for Application Managers to increase our Application Management team in Düsseldorf for a critical financial service offered by the telecommunication company to a number of local markets in Africa and Asia.
Tasks:
• Ensuring delivery of the service at the agreed Service Levels, managing and working with a number of internal partners and external service providers.
• Take on end-to-end responsibility for incident analysis and resolution for major incidents, managing and driving analysis and resolution of the incident with partners and suppliers.
• Responsible for timely availability of major incident reports for any priority 1 incident and to actively drive the implementation of appropriate preventive measures.
• Responsible for problem investigation and resolution.
• Responsible for service request execution.
• Manage customer and stakeholder communication in incident management for critical incidents impacting customer business
Skills
• IT/ Application Operating background and experience in managing complex technology based on ITIL best practice processes
• Experience in second / third level application support (incident, problem, change management, major incident management, housekeeping, monitoring) for large scale IT applications and services in multi-national environment
• Experience in IT service provisioning (preference in banking or telecommunications industry)
• Experience and background in a complex business environment and working in multicultural teams with a strong focus on supplier management
• Experience in operations of web and mobile service technologies:
o Microsoft Windows Server 2008
o Microsoft SQL server 2008 database
o TCP/IP networks
• Experience and knowledge of mobile internet communication, protocols, infrastructure, applications, services and integrations
• Experience in operational IT support of a banking service is desired
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills
• Fluent English

Duration: 3 months with further option on extension, onsite fulltime
