Reports to IT Applications Support Manager
Job Summar Technical responsibility for supporting key applications that support critical business processes
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
• Responding to Application support calls logged via the QI call management system within target SLAs.
• Provide support for the monitoring of key business applications.
• Applying configuration changes to key applications (within the QI Change Management process)
• Application of security updates to applications
• Application testing
• Delivery of project based work to agreed target dates.
• Liaise and manage third party suppliers
• Provide on-call support
Qualifications & Education
Essential:
• Hold a relevant IT Qualification and experience in a similar role.
Desirable:
• Degree in IT or equivalent experience
Experience
Essential:
• 2 Years+ experience in a similar role.
Desirable:
• 5 Years+ experience in a similar role.
Specific Skills
Essential:
• Have strong Windows Operating System, application & Printer support skills
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts
• Awareness of application design principles and coding standards
• JAVA, J2EE, HTML
