Applications Support Analyst
Primary responsibilities:
The Application Support Analyst roles will have a number of core activities.

You will act, as part of a team, in a third level support capacity for escalated functional issues with the main life and pension products. This will involve re-creating the issues in a test environment and working with the development team to resolve the issue, carrying out regression testing and closing out the bugs with the users. It will require a strong knowledge of the functionality rather than the underlying technology, which will be diverse.

You will also work as part of the systems analyst team to define requirements for modifications to the core systems, handing these off to the architects / developers and carrying out test work on the developed products.

This role will be diverse and will require someone with a good approach to problem solving and a good knowledge of systems analysis and structures (ideally UML)
Requirements
•
3 – 5 years in a similar role and strong knowledge of financial systems ideally from a life product / pensions background
•
Experience documenting business and functional requirements
•
Strong inter personal skills
