Application Security Engineer
My client in Cork is an international technology firm that requires an application security engineer to join their team on a contract basis. You will have the responsibility of software, hardware and mobile apps.
* Cork
* 6 Month Daily Rate Contract
Role
* Static application security testing: Manage sast tools to analyse source codes and/or compiled versions of code to help find security flaws.
* Dynamic app security testing: implementations and management of DAST tools to scan web apps for security vulnerabilities. Server configuration including Rapid 7 Nexpose, IBM AppScan
* Vulnerability management: manage and coordinate vulnerability disclosure programmes. Communicate vulnerabilities with internal teams to in order to prioritise responses.
* Threat modelling: performing threat modelling as well as documenting and relaying risks to non-technical teams.
Experience
* 3+ years experience with SAST and DAST tools.
* 3+ years experience securing the SDLC
* Experienced with automated testing tools desired
