Account Manager / New Business Development Manager (Resourcing Services Division)
Job Purpose:
•To develop opportunities in new and existing customers on behalf of IT Alliance
•Work closely with customers, to develop and market key offerings in these areas
•To achieve Revenue and Delivery Margin targets with appropriate sales mix for the Business lines
•Update & maintain Forecast and Pipelines for sales opportunities
•Understand & communicate the full range of IT Alliance service offeringsKey Relationships:
•Senior Management Team
•Sales Manager & Director
•Projects & Consulting Team
•Resourcing Team
Job Responsibilities:
•The primary responsibility is to develop new business within the specified account base and generate New business for Resourcing services
•Act as client liaison
•Identify new opportunities within the accounts
•Develop a sales plan for target companies to include milestones
•Attend industry events locally and globally to network with key contacts / practitioners
•Work closely with the Resourcing and Delivery organisation to match service offerings and capabilities with customer and market requirements.
•Work closely with Practice Directors to market and sell ITA Services
•Keep the line manager updated on sales activity, targets, pipelines and forecasts
•Ensure all appropriate information on business development activity is recorded in our internal systems
•Completing all reporting requirements on time for the Sales Manager/Director / others as agreed
Business Competencies:
•Knowledge of Market and IT Trends
•Ideally knowledge of IT Services
•Ideally Knowledge of Resourcing and selling contractors/placements
•Ideally knowledge of Project Management techniques, standards, etc.
•Demonstrated ability to achieve targets
•Demonstrated ability to take complex customer requirements and work with technical teams to propose solution
•Ability to write concise proposals
Experience required:
•3-4+ Years experience in a sales capacity in the IT Services sector
•Formal Sales Training
Personal Skills:
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Ability to present and network at all levels within an organisation
•Strong organisational skillsAdditional Requirements:
•Full Clean Driving License
