2nd / 3rd Line Technical Support Engineer
One of our clients in Dublin South is looking for 2nd / 3rd Line Technical Support Engineer to join their successful team. It is 6 months initial contract with possibility to go permanent.
They have a very good team and atmosphere to work. This role involves carrying out daily, weekly and monthly checklists, reacting to events, incident resolution, log analysis, network scanning, patch analysis/management and implementing change controls.
Skills required:
* Experience in a system operations environment.
* Windows 2003/2008 systems administration.
* Knowledge of incident and problem management.
* Knowledge of syslog, SQL Server would be a distinct advantage.
* Must be comfortable working in data centre environments.
* Backup and restore systems
* Knowledge of ITIL v3.would be desirable
