A leading financial services organisation is seeking 2 Business Analysts to work on contract basis in their City of London office. Principal Responsibilities: Gathering and writing business requirements and functional specifications Developing business and system processes and workflows Serves as the primary interface to the business regarding business functionality and processes Responsible for facilitating and coordinating activities between the business and IT Manage scope and requirements throughout the development lifecycle Participate in proposal writing and some pre-sales support work Reporting project status Documenting test cases Participating in software testing Assist in operational rollout and support Relationships: Working with business partners and the technology team Dealing with external clients Experience: Proven ability in performing business analysis activities for large, complex software systems Experience of working for an asset management firm or a service provider to the investment management industry is desirable Qualifications and Training: Degree level required, preferably Business, Maths or Science Job Skills and Knowledge: Experienced with business analysis methodologies, tools and processes Working knowledge of business analysis documentation standards eg BRD, functional specification documents, Business process design and re-engineering, testing experience. Solid understanding of the overall SDLC process/methodologies Good understanding of application architecture Desirable business knowledge trade support, settlements processing, Back Office accounting, reconciliation, data management.
