IT Support Associate – Retail Business and Desktop Support
12 month fixed term contract, dealing with and resolving any hardware, software and business system support issues daily for a large retail business.
Duties
* Provide 1st line support via phone and email and remotely.

Develop an expertise in our in-house business systems.
*
Create and amend business screens & reports via SQL, crystal reports and BI systems
*
To take ownership of user problems and be pro-active when dealing with user issues
*
Respond to queries from clients and help them resolve any hardware or software problems
*
Support users in the use of computer equipment by providing necessary training and advice
*
Configure & install Network Printers/Scanners
*
Support Telephone and other hardware issues
*
Monitor network performance and escalate communications issues.
*
Assist with the selection and purchase of hardware and software.
Skills:
*
Previous Helpdesk/Support experience would be useful.
*
Experience supporting ERP and/or Business Intelligence systems would be useful.
*
Working knowledge of Microsoft office, and Microsoft Operating Systems.
*
Knowledge of SQL or other programming languages.
*
Knowledge Crystal reports or other report generators.
*
Basic Knowledge of the retail business process/systems would be an advantage though not essential.
*
In-house training will be provided on all keys systems.
