Our client is a leading player within financial services. They have an immediate requirement for a Technical Writer for a 6 month contract
The Role:
To capture processes for operations using technical writing theories, methods and tools. Ensure document content quality by managing and organising information for accuracy and readability.
• Work with Operations team to document and map detailed processes, identify cross functional
linkages and dependencies and document integrated processes
• Capture and document the control features associated with each key procedure
• Create standard operating documents and templates for the department that are in line with best
practice
• Translate processes into easy to understand operating procedures and process maps
• Analyse existing processes, map data flows and document the existing model
• Analyse and consolidate data from different sources and gather requirements from business users
and create central repository
• Create detailed Checklists and Vetting sheets to support Operations.
Experience:
• 3 – 5 years’ relevant experience, i.e. process mapping, systems analysis, technical writing
• Expertise in the use of MS Office suite and Visio
• Excellent verbal and written skills
