As a Software Developer, you will be part of a team creating innovative cancer detection and drug discovery solutions, supporting applications and associated web-based products.

The primary offering of the company is a product that combines big data with straightforward workflows and automatically identifies tumours on digital images. This type of innovative software is designed to save clinics and hospitals time and money while enhancing accuracy and reducing false negatives.

Working as part of the Research and Development Team, you will utilise the latest technologies, including HTML5, CSS3 and ASP.NET, to develop web-based applications.

Joining a Scrum team, you will take part in all aspects of the software development lifecycle from user story creation through to testing and will be empowered to create technical solutions to complex problems.

Additionally, you will write automated unit and integration tests and mentor Junior Software Developers to enable them to grow and enhance their skill-set.

Interested? If so, you must have:

– At least three years’ experience as a software developer and/or engineer
– Experience of building web applications using ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript and CSS
– Experience of writing and building unit and integration tests
– Strong software development skills and a proven track record of building software applications from initial specification through to final development and acceptance
– At a minimum, a 2:1 degree in computer science (or equivalent)

Passionate about amazing software and quick to learn, as a Software Developer, you must also be disciplined, self-motivated and focused, with a team-oriented approach.
