Position: Business Systems Analyst / Project Manager

We are seeking two Business Systems Analyst with Project Manager experience for a 6-12 month assignment within within a Greenfield site. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

The successful Candidate will need to;

Prepare a project definition including a high level project plan and project structure and understanding of the implications on existing systems

Assess Business and system requirements, planning schedule, planning budget and technology recommendations for the project

Analyse the Business benefits and operational impact

Perform an analysis of the risks and mitigation and then set goals and objectives

Understand Legislative Impact Assessments

Detail the process mapping

Coordinate and execute system testing, UAT and system implementation

Review training requirements and approach

Required Skills:

-5 years + experience in ALL of the following –

-Business Systems Analysis

-Project Management

-Prototyping techniques and their application to system development

-Concepts of time-boxing and the prioritisation of requirements

Highly Desirable Skills:

-Knowledge of Transport Systems and Legislation

-ISO 9001 and/or ITIL standards

-Six Sigma Methodologies with minimum of Green Belt qualification

-Lean methodologies

-Previous experience working in a Government Department or Agency

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics or other relevant field.

A recognised qualification in Business Analysis and/or Project Management

General:

The successful candidate will be based onsite either in Co. Clare or Co. Dublin. There is a requirement to travel and work in other locations during the course of the contract. Travel will be by prior agreement with expenses paid.
