The Role

Using the latest technologies, you will contribute to the development of innovative, industry leading software tools and products that provide the human interface  that control industrial automation devices.

Specialise in providing rich user interfaces for new products, using RCP, EMF, GEF and SWT.
 

Summary

Java is the main language, and at the center of our technology stack. The Java developers work across a range of their products, using SWT and Swing, as well as Eclipse RCP as part of their daily job.

Using the latest technologies, you will contribute to the development of innovative, industry leading software tools and products that provide the human interface that controls Industrial Automation devices.

Help build the next generation of configuration tools, leveraging the power of Eclipse technologies.

Specialise in providing rich user interfaces for their new products, using RCP, EMF, GEF and SWT.

You will be self motivated, energetic and upbeat; take a logical and systematic approach to problem solving; be a perfectionist who strives for timely completion of projects; have the ability to prioritise the urgency of multiple requests and then take charge of these to meet deadlines.
 You love software; you love programming, and you have:
 

Essential

2+ Years’ professional development experience in Core Java and Java UI development
Good Analysis & Design skills
Junit or other unit test frameworks
CVS, Subversion or GIT source control systems
Ant, Jenkins or other build environments
QTP,SWTbot,GoogleTester or other UI automation tools
BSc in a related field such as Computer Science, Computer Eng or Elec Eng

An Advantage

Experience in rich client application development.
Eclipse plug-in development using the following platforms RCP, SWT, EMF, GEF, e4
Experience in User Centered Design skills
C/C++
Javascript / Typescript
Mobile development
XML libraries and binding technologies
Team / Technical Leading
Worked in agile development teams using SCRUM
