Lead Test Engineer SDET – (Contract)

Lead Test Engineer SDET is required to work onsite for one of the biggest IT companies in the world, and will suits someone who is interested in shaping the future of the evolving Networked Society. 

Overseas candidates are welcome and Interviews will be done by remote tools (Skype / Phone)

This initial contract will run to the end of the year and daily rate are negotiable around €400 / day  

Responsibilities:

·         Developing and testing within an Engineering Scrum Team in an innovative Telecom project.

·         Working with the latest technologies in the market including (and not limited to) Enterprise Java, EJB, Big Data, Analytics, Unix Scripting etc.

·         Responsible for test and management of complex software system including system testing and other types of functional and non-functional testing and test strategies.

·         Resolves technical issues through debugging, research and investigation

Requirements:

·         7+ years’ experience with Testing and Test strategies within Java/J2EE Development

·         Very strong knowledge of end-to-end System Test environment within a complex software system

·         Experience working with Junit, JMeter, Maven, ANT, GIT, SVN, BitBucket, Jenkins etc.

·         Project management / scrum master / team lead experience is a must

·         Experience in one or more scripting technologies such as BASH, Python etc.

·         Proficient with APIs and service oriented architectures

·         Excellent English and Communication skills essential
