Senior Business Analyst/ SAP

Position: Senior Business Analyst/SAP Reference: 916089SC Sector: Global Health Care Location: Galway Start: ASAP Job Type: Permanent Our client focuses on partnering with global manufacturing to support the operational needs and enable their strategic plans through collaboration, leadership and innovation within the field of Global Health Care Role: * Reporting and following up on departmental objectives (KPI's) * Create project plans including timelines and milestones and track progress * Mentor, coach and provide technical guidance to team members * Provide detailed functional knowledge and insight into current industry best practices * Ensure systems and data are protected in accordance with Information Protection Policies and Standards * Ensure proper validation documentation is created for all projects i.e. System Development Validation Life Cycle Methodology (SDVLC) * Support Talent Management by developing the technical capabilities and overall skill sets of direct reports to ensure ongoing and future strategic business needs are met * Participate in developing and implementing new concepts, techniques and standards that support the strategic objectives of the IT function * Liaise with end users and business partners to assess customer requirements * Develop solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation * Match customer requirements to business objectives and guide them to the applicable processes and products * Developing specifications and enhancements that will achieve customers and business goals * Inspire teamwork and responsibility across project teams; holding teams accountable to schedules, budgets and scope Skills / Experience: * Qualified to Degree level qualification or Masters * 7 + years SAP experience in the areas of PP, MM, QM, PM * Detailed knowledge of SAP system methodologies and integration with modules to enable assessment of changes and potential impacts to other SAP modules * Relevant experience in implementation of new SAP functionality * Experience with implementation of IT Infrastructure tools, technologies, and concepts * Experience in the development and support of integrated business applications and systems architecture * Experience in business process definition, requirements definition and technology solution research * A self-motivated team player with good communication skills * You can work effectively and proactively with cross-functional teams * You have good people management skills * Fluent in English -both written and spoken Nice to have: * Experience in a medical manufacturing industry ISTQB Certification About Us: Since 1997 we have continually extended our network of computer experts.
