Automation Test Manager

Rapidly growing Irish owned FinTech Company based in Sandyford, D18 (beside green Luas) have an opportunity for a Automation Test Manager. My Client is one of the top ranked companies in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50.

This is a career making opportunity to genuinely shape a global financial software product. You will take ownership of the software automation function locally while managing the process with the offshore testing team.

Responsibilities:              

·         Ensure that testing is consistently planned, executed and provides measurable results to demonstrate a target level of software and solution quality

·         Participate with Sprint teams (core and offshore) in their sprint planning to map out / plan / design the tests required for the sprint tasks

·         Continue to improve the Test Automation Suite content and process

·         Provide guidance/feedback to core and offshore teams re how to implement automated tests

·         Coordinate all test activities in and between core and offshore teams

·         Collaborate with all departments to produce test plans, designs and execution

Requirements:

·         3rd Level qualification in Computer Science or equivalent qualification

·         5+ years’ experience in the software test industry (some of which ideally in a C# / .Net environment)

·         Experience setting up and developing an automated test strategy

·         Comprehensive understanding of test methodologies and techniques

·         Experience of writing, test strategies, test cases and plans

·         Experience with Agile development methodologies

·         Excellent spoken and written English, time management and organisational skills

Remuneration

·         Starting salary of C75K
