Field Engineer

Field Engineer required for a leading supplier of IT support and IT managed services in the Dublin area. My Client is based in D12 and supplies end-to-end IT services to some of the most familiar businesses and brands in the Dublin region 

Responsibilities

·         Work on various Client sites (In Dublin area) for half to full days at a time

·         Understand customer’s ICT infrastructure, business systems, information and security requirements.

·         Maintain network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, troubleshooting network problems; escalating problems to vendor.

·         Influence user behaviour to reduce security risks providing references and support.

·         Perform minor upgrades conferring with vendors; developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements.

Requirements:

·         3rd level qualification with 2+ experience (ideally in a managed services environment)

·         Experience of Microsoft Server 2012.

·         In-depth knowledge of Office 365, Exchange, SharePoint, Lync/Skype.

·         Experience with McAfee and SonicWALL

·         Knowledge of wired & wireless networking protocols.

·         Experience with AVG Managed Workplace is desirable

• Starting Salary of 35-40K
