Security Engineer

Evros Technology Group are seeking to hire a Security Engineer to be part of our growing security team. Your role will be to assist our clients in using a risk-based approach to secure IT systems from current and emerging threats by recommending & deploying new security technologies meet their requirements. This is a permanent position based in South Dublin.

Responsibilities:

* Implement and manage security technologies throughout the life of projects.
* Support project activities including design and proof of concept.
* Plan, deploy & support IT Security technologies.
* Assist in security vendor selection and gain expertise in chosen vendor technologies

Experience & Skills:

* 2+ years’ experience in IT Security and/or Networking
* Solid understanding of security concepts

Desired Behaviours & Traits:

* A keen interest in IT security and advances in this field
* Excellent problem-solving ability with effective analysis of complex problems
* Ability to communicate clearly
* Good organisation skills
* Results focused.

Vendor/Platform experience preferred:

It is a benefit if you have experience in the installation, configuration, management and/or troubleshooting of any of the following:

* Firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA),
* Network (Cisco, Arista, F5)
* Security log management,
* Microsoft Cloud Services (Azure, O365, EMS)
* Identity management (AzureAD, Centrify, Oracle)
* Virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V)
* Data loss prevention (Symantec, Forcepoint, Microsoft)

Candidates must be eligible to work in Ireland or currently hold a Stamp 4 Visa to apply.
