Information Security Engineer
6-month contract based in Galway with the option to work from home.
Our client is looking for an experienced Information Security Engineer to join their existing team on a 6 month contract with the potential of being extended.
DESIRED SKILLS
* 4+ years in IT security experience
* Experience working with security tools (Alienvault, Graylog or FireEye)
* Previous experience in Ethical Hacking
THE ROLE
* Support a team currently investing ongoing and potential incidents.
* Source threats for the company and actively look for the Indicators of Compromise and Tactics, Techniques and Procedures in the network where required.
* Use the reports to improve detection mechanisms by implementing techniques to find the threats currently in the environment.
* Write up Incident Handling and Incident reports accurately to improve the security posture.
