Aruba Consultant

itContracting are seeking applications for an Aruba Network Consultant for a 6month contract based in Northern Ireland

Experiecne Required:

– 3+ years in wireless network engineering, specifically with Aruba, autonomous, controller-based, and mesh APs, including indoor/outdoor deployments and wireless bridges and a strong grasp of IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax Wi-Fi standards and related components
– 5+ years in wired network engineering, specifically in L2/L3 switching and routing and different platforms of HPE/Aruba switches and routers
– Thorough understanding of 802.1x authentication and TACACS/TACACS+
– Troubleshooting wireless networking issues
– Experience delivering detailed design diagrams, complete technical documentation, and develop change scripts, using various tools such as MS Excel, MS Power Point, and MS Visio
– Looking for Consultant with extensive 802.1X experience using ClearPass and Aruba and Cisco Hardware.
– Must have valid Aruba ClearPass Certificate with 3-5 5 year + working experience.
– Plans, designs and implements networked systems, including configurations, supporting/troubleshooting network problems and coordinating with vendors for installation of such items as routers, bridges, concentrators and switches.
– Provides training and assists with proposal writing.

Required Certifications/Qualifications:

– Active Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Wireless certificate (or higher) Preferred
– Active Aruba Clearpass Professional (ACCP) certificate (or ACCX) Required
– Active Aruba Mobility Professional (ACMP) certificate (or ACMX) Preferred

Bonus Certifications/Qaulifications:

– Active Aruba Design Professional (ACDP) certificate (or ACDX) Preferred
– Active Aruba Switching Professional (ACSP) certificate Preferred
