Software Product Manager

As a Software Product Manager you will be responsible for software product planning, product business feature content and software design and user experience. You will have responsibility for the full product lifecycle from inception and design through to planning, development and release. You will work closely with Engineering, Sales, Marketing and Support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. Specifically you will:

. Define the functional product roadmap and input to product vision and strategy
. Identify and define product requirements and features including the authoring and management of market requirements, functional and other specifications
. Lead the product design and development process
. Provide the subject matter expertise to local and global project teams
. Conduct business research
. Prepare reference and other product documentation
. Present and promote to clients, partners, and at marketing events
. Participate in project planning, budgeting, scheduling
. Be an industry product expert with respect to the competition, and competitor offerings

Education: Degree Holder, Completion of Securities Course or equivalent work experience in front, middle or back office operations in a financial institution

Experience . . . You will have. . . .

. At least 5 years experience product leadership experience within the Capital Markets industry
. Demonstrable capability in business and/or financial analysis
. Demonstrable experience in the application of formal project management processes ( PRINCE / PMP ) and a clear understanding of software product life cycles
. Demonstrated leadership in developing and deploying product software packages and ensuring successful use by end users
. Expert domain knowledge in Capital Markets, and exposure to Data management
. Software Product Roadmap creation and maintenance
. Formal Business / systems analysis experience
. Exposure to product marketing
. Commercial awareness
. Working knowledge of database technology
. Excellent communication skills
. Ability to represent the company and product at external seminars, and deliver to interest groups
