Senior Software Engineer Embedded C++
Our client is a leading designer of machine vision systems in Cork.
Due to continued expansion they are currently looking to recruit an experienced embedded C engineer for a full time permenent position in Cork.
Salary: €60k – €70k
• Optimize software to solve real-world problems on specialized machine vision hardware.
• Participate in the investigation, design, and implementation of computational optics systems.
• Participate in the design of novel image acquisition and processing architectures.
• Develop proof-of-concept prototypes for the clients customers.
• Investigate, invent, and implement machine vision algorithms and applications.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The qualified candidate would possess the following experience:
• M.S. or Ph.D. in machine vision or closely related field. Strong math / signal processing background is a plus.
• 4-5 years experience
• Demonstrated creativity through prior work experience, papers, patents, etc.
• Strong programming skills (C/C ).
• Enthusiastic, motivated and looking to work hard for an aggressive growth company.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
