2 years Software Installation and Systems Administration experience – need installation and administration Windows, Linux, Sun Solaris and Tomcat. Administration of Oracle 10g , IBM DB2 v8 , SQL Server 2000. Based City Centre, some International travel.
The role of the Software Installation and Administration Engineer will focus on the installation and configuration of my client’s product suite and to support 3rd Party applications, both in-house and on customer sites.
Duties:
• Installation and technical configuration product suite
• Installation and configuration of supporting 3rd Party technologies, including Application Servers & Databases
• Creation of Installation Documentation
• Management of Technical Installation Documents and Release Notes
• Management of all software releases that go out to clients
Experience and Skills:
• 2 years’ experience in a software installation or system administration role
• Installation and Admin of Windows, Linux, Sun Solaris, AIX, Websphere Application Server v5 ,
• Weblogic Server v8 and Tomcat
• Administration experience of Oracle 10g , IBM DB2 v8 , SQL Server 2000
