Senior Automated Test Engineer

realTime is seeking an experienced Automated Tester to commence a new role with a very successful company in Dublin.
You will have excellent technical ability along with strong communication skills as my Client will need you to identify potential problems before they happen and make recommendations.
Job Description
You will maintain software to automate testing of business applications in a Visual Studio environment. You will be responsible for developing test automation strategy, scripting, test scheduling and execution, for all types of system testing including integration, load, performance, regression, GUI, and functionality. The role involves working closely with the software developers to incorporate ideas from solution requirements into testing strategies and plans, thus ensuring that new or modified software applications meet both business and technical requirements. The position will be on a Scrum Team and as such the individual will be relied upon as a test resource on the Scrum team
Skills/Experience Required:
· 3 years experience in test automation / software development
· 3 years minimum experience using Visual Studio Team System Test Edition or equivalent automated tools
· Experience with Visual Studio .NET developer (C#, VB, Javascript)
· Computer Science Degree is mandatory
• Test methodologies and techniques

· Experience constructing automated test plans for web-based applications
· Strong verbal and written communication skills that non-technical end users can understand
