Purpose of Role
The role will initially be within the applications support area with responsibility for support, maintenance and enhancements to several key client server applications.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Support, Maintain and Enhance key client/server applications
• To work as part of application support team meeting pre-determined deadlines
• Liase with system analysts and end-users
• Involvement in the creation and maintenance of application support and development best practice
Selection Criteria
• Involvement in a number of projects using VB and Access or a similar application support role
• Commitment to delivery of quality solutions to agreed schedules
• An understanding of OOAD
• Highly proficient communication, initiative and teamwork skills
• Visual Basic 6, MS Access experience
• Knowledge of Oracle, SQL, XML would be beneficial but not necessary
• Financial Services Experience would be beneficial but not necessary
• German Language Skills would be beneficial but not necessary
