The Client:

My client is an established leading provider in the global financial services sector. They currently have an immediate requirement for an experienced Applications Architect to join an existing team on a new project focusing on new application implementation and rollout.

Role Overview:

This role will be focused on establishing the appropriate architecture required for the projects taking into account the business requirements and the overall systems and methodologies in place
The suitable candidate will work as an Application Architect in close conjunction with the team of Projects Managers, Systems Analyst and Developers. You will also be required to work closely with the business to on requirements requests.

Skills and Experience:

• Senior level experience & proven track record working within a previous Application Architect role
• Strong Architecture experience with Enterprise Applications Integration
• 10g database design experience is essential and excellent Windows technologies knowledge also
• The ability to work closely with the business stakeholders in order to transform business requirements into technical design specifications.
• UML and Agile experience is essential
• Webservices, CRM (Fineos) and Contrent Management Systems experience is desirable
• Life and Pension / Financial industry experience – desirable
• Excellent interpersonal, communication & problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
