Business Systems Analyst – South East Based
Reporting to the IT Manager, the purpose of this role is to provide application and operational training and support to IT users as part of a performance driven IT team.
Responsibilities include:-
Technical
To provide application and technical support on all business systems.
To co-ordinate and complete problem investigation and resolution for all operational IT hardware and software.
Documentation / management of user requirements through to implementation and training.
To provide operational support for all business systems.
Planning and implementation of applications and systems.
Business
To become familiar with existing and new IT systems.
To provide application training and operational support to users.
To manage the implementation and development of IT systems.
To liaise with suppliers / service providers as required in pursuance of service delivery.
Management and control of IT projects.
General
To provide backup to other members of the I.T. Department.
Assistance in investigation, design, testing, training and implementation of new systems
To assist with business systems recovery procedures.
To ensure compliance to departmental operating standards and procedures.
Assistance in implementation, testing and execution of disaster recovery plans.
To manage and order consumables necessary for normal operations.
Undertake other related duties assigned on an ad hoc basis Manager
Experience required:-
Third level qualification and or 3yrs experience
Knowledge of ERP systems, Servers, Citrix, Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, AS/400 (essential) , Cognos, Softco, Trusted Link
Self Starter with a proven ability to troubleshoot
Project Management Experience – inc PM tools & flowcharting
Good teamwork, time management and communication skills
