SAP Ireland is the leading provider of high-quality IT support & services to international SAP customers. Currently we are looking for a Student Intern with Finance or Supply Chain knowledge to support customers that are using our SAP Business One solution for small and medium businesses.
This is a challenging role with an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a global multi-national working environment. The role will require you to work 38 hours per week, starting in May 2010. Ideally, you will be in your 3rd or 4th year of study.
Tasks:
In a support capacity, you will be responsible for:
Dispatching incoming problems reported by SAP partners via the web-based messaging system
Translating customer messages
Answering incoming customer phone calls requesting message updates
Participating in internal projects and administration tasks as required
Troubleshooting finance or supply-chain related problems and providing the best available solution or workaround within the agreed service levels (as required)
Requirements:
Be in your 3rd or 4th year of degree level study (Finance or Business Discipline)
Knowledge of Accounting, Book-keeping, and Financial reporting and transactions
Knowledge of Supply Chain Management
Good understanding of IT and SQL knowledge is preferable
Excellent problem solving & analytical ability
Strong customer focus & interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work as part of a multi-cultural team
Fluency in another European language preferred (German, Spanish, Portuguese, French)
